THE BLACK AND WHITE COLOBUS MONKEY
A magnificent sight in the tree tops of Arusha National Pk.
The Guereza (Colobus guereza) can be identified by a heavy, black body with a naked, slate-gray face surrounded by a white
brow and full beard, a white mantle, long tail, broad white ring around the callosities, and an indistinct white thigh spot.
The tail tuft varies in length and degree of bushiness, from a simple terminal tuft to a long flowing brush three quarters

Mbenges are traditionally used as covers over other baskets, or clay pots, as lids. However, the shallowness of the bowl
makes them excellent platters and trays, or to hang on the wall as beautiful art. Many patterns and sizes available. All
baskets are made of natural products and food safe. The close up slice of the basket weaving will give you a good idea of
the quality of the weave and design with the natural colors.

UNUSUAL NATURAL GRASS HANDWOVEN BASKET WITH CARVED FIGURE ON THE TOP

These baskets are made in northern Zululand. They are hand woven of natural grass, and a dark stained, hand-carved figure
is on the top. We have tops with elephants, turtles, dung beetles, scarabs and scorpions. The weaver only makes a limited
number of these great gift baskets for that hard to buy for gentleman on your list. They come in oval and round shapes and
measure 5.5"x3"h for the round shape and 6.5"x2"h for the oval shape baskets.

Unusual feminine colored Ukhamba
This pretty feminine colored ukhamba features diamonds with light tan, black and raspberry with white outlines. It is a smaller
basket measuring 10" h x 23" circumference so would look elegant in a bedroom or bathroom. The diamond is a basic
Zulu design for "feminine".
